Disability Services for Students works with students and all units of URI to foster an inclusive and accessible environment, support academic success and self-advocacy, and promote ADA compliance.

Office hours are 8:30 - 4:30, Monday through Friday.

Standard Appointments are scheduled for one-hour to give you and your DSS Counselor enough time to discuss all your needs. (If this is your first time to DSS, if you are on academic probation, if you need to discuss any issues at all, please make a one-hour appointment). Please contact the receptionist at 401-874-2098 to set up your appointment.

Walk-in Hours are available for returning students who are in good academic standing. Walk-in meetings are no more than 15 minutes and are for routine accommodations or for quick questions. Please make a standard appointment if you need to discuss pertinent issues with your counselor.
