Welcoming Diversity at URI's Graduate School

The University of Rhode Island is dedicated to building a rich learning community in which diversity and multiculturalism are deeply valued. We work towards this goal through the implmentation of a number of programs that help attract and retain a diverse faculty, staff, and student body. Central to the effort of the Graduate School is the development of programs and initiatives that reach out to the community and provide service, educational and research opportunities. We maintain high academic standards that fully embrace the insights and understanding necessary to develop mutually respectful interactions among individuals with different personal and cultural perspectives.
