The Best 2008-2009 URI Transportation Thesis/Dissertation Award

The Rhode Island Transportation Research Center (RITRC) would like to announce the sixth "Best University of Rhode Island (URI) Transportation Thesis/Dissertation Award" program. URI graduates who received M.S. or Ph.D. degrees from 9/1/08 to 8/31/09 on a subject related to transportation are eligible for this award. The award, which will consist of a Certificate of Recognition and $500 cash prize, will be presented at the 22nd RI Transportation Forum on 11/6/09. It may be noted that the award was possible through the financial support from the Construction Industries of Rhode Island (CIRI). Applicants should submit a copy of their manuscript with a cover letter and concise curriculum vitae by 10/15/09 to the following address:
